Been reading Orlando by Virgina Woolf, extremely slowly may I say, but I'm doing it. I started it on the 24th of april. Read half of the first chapter in a few days and then life happened (uni as always) and dropped it for a few weeks. Last friday I skipped a class and continued reading it. Finished the first two chapters!
It's been a while since a booked had a grip on me like this. Seeing Orlando's world through the perspective of the biographer, it's really interesting. Also, it has many quotes I liked. My favourite is "He loved, beneath all this summer transiency, to feel the earth's spine beneath him" all of that to say Orlando was walking over a root. Marvelous.
The edition I bought is from the vintage classics line. The covers are a mix of watercolors and pencils I really like.

The artist is called Aino-Maija Metsola. She doesnt have social media saldy! (very based actually) and her portfolio is amazinggg. I made something with watercolors based on her work to kill time in the rain yesterday

It's been a while since I did something for fun in watercolors so I really like how it turned out. (idk why the image is turned lol)
Song of the day
